The AU-D8S is an SRS TruVolume - HDMI Volume Control Processor and the AU-D11S has the same functionality as the AU-D8S, but increases install options by using a SCART input, rather than HDMI. The AU-D8S SRS TruVolume - HDMI Volume Control Processor deals with that perennial annoyance of fluctuating volumes when switching between TV channels, a phenomenon particularly prevalent on today’s cable and satellite platforms. CYP says the AU-D8S SRS Volume control is a truly advanced HDMI to HDMI audio repeater and decoder that incorporates SRS TruVolume technology freeing users from volume fluctuation. The unit supports CEC bypass and can transfer deep colour video with a high bandwidth at speeds up to 225MHz. When using its repeater function, it can amplify the signal and use its equalization feature to regulate the output. The SRS TruVolume technology maintains a steady volume, allowing the installer to set the client’s desired volume just once to enjoy television, music and any other content. The AU-D8S presents a controlled output to iron out jarring volume bursts, particularly common in advertisement breaks, action scenes and when changing channels. The unit is also skilled at maintaining a steady volume so that quiet conversations or more subtle music output can be appreciated in full detail. The AU-D8S has a straight-forward switched operation On/Bypass, HDMI input and output supporting two-channel audio up to 48Khz, with HDMI signal amplification and equalisation for improved signal transmission. The video signal is bypassed through the AU-D8S and is not processed, output resolution follows input. SCART TO SCART The AU-D11S SRS TruVolume SCART Volume Control Processor also incorporates SRS TruVolume technology freeing users from those same annoying volume inconsistencies. The unit delivers consistent performance for appreciation of quieter scenes. CYP says the AU-D11S is full of great features including simple switched operation On/Off, line level inputs and outputs for easy connection to standard audio equipment. Input is via SCART, output is via SCART and stereo RCA jacks. The incorporated SRS technology boosts low and high frequency content dynamically (20 bands/channel) using an advanced psychoacoustic modelling engine, making the entire listening experience come alive, regardless of the audio level.  |
